About
Independent. Accountable. Not for sale.
Nautical IT exists because of a pattern we kept watching. A business finds a good IT provider. The provider gets acquired. The account manager changes, the tickets route somewhere else, and the person who actually understood the environment is three restructures gone.
We run this practice deliberately small and deliberately senior. When you call, the engineer who answers is the one who configured your tenant, holds your documentation, and will be accountable for it next year too. Governance work is done by the same hands that do the operational work — which is why our compliance evidence is live configuration, not paperwork.
The helm on our logo isn't about boats. It's the instrument of steering — direction and control, held by someone who's actually on board. That's the job: keep the business off the rocks, and be able to show the chart that proves it.
We're based in Melbourne and work with organisations of roughly 5–200 staff across Australia — particularly those in education, health, and the resources supply chain, where holding other people's data comes with obligations.
“Small enough that you know who's steering. Senior enough that it's steered well.”

The review is the easiest way to take our measure. No obligation.
